Round 1.

  • Do you usually go by the book or sometimes break the rules (stick to the rules)?
  • Gave you ever drifted with anyone apart? Why did it happen? (gradually become less intimate or friendly)
  • What did you lay out a lot of money for? Was it worth it? (to spend a lot of money reluctantly)
  • What rubs you up the wrong way? (to annoy)
  • What is your attitude towards giving or taking a lot of stick? Do you do it? (to tease or criticize)
  • Do you go round/around with your colleagues? Why? Why not? ((To socialise/go out with a person or people on a regular basis)
  • Do you have any trait that you didn't know you had it in you? (a certain characteristic which you were not previously aware of)
  • What could get an event going? (make more lively) What are the memorable events you've visited?


Round 2.


  • What do you get a real buzz from? (To get great excitement from doing something)
  • What talents are you endowed with? (be born with) Is it important to have any?
  • Do you have a lot on your plate at the moment? (a lot of work to get through)
  • Do you jump on the bandwagon? (do something because it's fashionable) Is it good or bad to climb on the bandwagon? (do the same thing as many do)
  • What kinds of events draw crowds in? Do you enjoy any of these occasions?
  • Have you ever written off any ideas or plans? (o accept that an idea or plan has to be scrapped)
  • Is it better to stick any courses / deals out even if you are not satisfied with tem? or is it better to quit? (to continue doing something even though it is unpleasant)
  • What things do people usually grow out of? What about you? (to change one's taste or behavior as one becomes more mature/ an adult)
  • When is it necessary to get to the bottom of an issue? How does it help to solve it?


Round 3.


  • If you were to wallow in something, what would it be? (to indulge/lose oneself in pleasure)
  • Is it better to plan everything ahead (make arrangements in advance) or let some things just happen?
  • How can you talk a person around (persuade)? Is it worth doing?
  • Which of your beginnings came off (were successful)?
  • What are you pressing on with (put efforts into) at the moment?
  • Do people have to slave away (work hard) to make good money?
  • What are the possible ways to branch out (develop) for a professional?
  • Have you ever lived through (overcome) difficulties?
  • Why do we fall for (fall in love) certain people?
  • What would you pour your money into (invest in)?
  • What values should we hand down to (pass on to) our children?


Round 4.

  • Have you ever taken the cake? Where was it? (to be rewarded for efforts)
  • Anything curious you came across (find accidentally) recently? Tell more about it.
  • If everybody says that something is impossible, will you have a go (try) despite that? Why?
  • Do you have any skills that you think are not up to scratch (good enough)?
  • Is there any point in (sense) working on the accent? What's the point of that?
  • Are there any things that you are reluctant (unwilling) to do at work, studies, etc?
  • Can you afford the time to do things you like? What are they?
  • In your opinion, Is it handy (convenient) living in the city centre? Why?
  • What could you do with (need) when you're tired? What can you do without when you're on holiday (don't need)?
  • Have you ever done your flat / house up? (renovate) describe your experience.
